Ministry Degrees
General Bible
This program is for students who are unsure of the call of God in their lives or those who just want a thorough, well-rounded Bible education. This Bible degree gives students a sound doctrinal foundation along with a strong college education.
Courses for this degree include:
• Bible Exegesis classes (Books of the Bible)
• Bible Study Methods
• Biblical Interpretation
• Bible Electives (Tabernacle, Christ in the Old Testament, etc)
• Practical Theology (Sunday School, Bus Ministry, etc.
Local Church Ministries
This course of study is for men who have been lead by the Lord to the position of an assistant pastor, youth director, evangelist or other ministries of the local church.
The LCM student chooses one of the following concentrations: Youth, Evangelism, Church Technology, Church Media, or Radio Broadcasting.
Courses specific to this degree include:
• Second Man
• Evangelism
• Outreach Ministries
• Youth Ministries
• Children’s Ministries
Pastoral
This course of study is for men called of God to preach and pastor a church. The degree prepares the future pastor with the spiritual, practical, and theological tools necessary in the ministry.

• Spiritual Leadership
• Pastoral Theology
• Advanced Pastoral Theology
• Church Administration
• Church Polity
Missions
This program is for men and women called to reach the lost on the mission field.
Whether that field is home or abroad, this degree will train and equip the student to
do the work of God on the mission field.
Courses for this degree will include:
• Missionary PPM (Principles, Practices and Methods)
• Cross-Cultural Ministries
• Deputation Ministry
• Cults/Comparative Religions
• Biographies of Great Missionaries
Education & Business
Elementary Education
This program prepares the student to minister in a Christian school at the elementary and middle school level. The student will learn general teaching methods, as well as, techniques specific to each of the core subjects (Math, Science, History, and Language Arts). The student will also be required to complete a semester of student teaching.
General teaching courses for this degree include:
• Christian Philosophy of Education
• Methods & Materials
• Tests & Measurements
• Classroom Management
• Practice Teaching
Secondary Education
This program prepares the student to minister in a Christian school at the high school level. Along with the general teaching courses, each student takes proficiency courses in History along with a second choice of one of the following:
• Math
• Science
• English
• Other proficiencies, such as Music, Art, Graphic Design, and Computers, may be permitted based upon student interest and course availability.
