A study of the history of the United States from the colonial period until the present is studied. Emphasis is placed upon our Christian heritage and the challenges to it. Two semesters.
This is world geography with emphasis on the problems of man’s relationship to the land. The distribution of population and the significance of soils, climate, terrain, vegetation, minerals, and water to mankind is seen.
This course considers the features of American government, its organizational structure, and the way it functions on a federal, state, and local basis.
A study of the geography of the Bible Lands is done. Map studies are done in class. An emphasis is placed upon Palestine and the historical-geographical study of Jerusalem.
